The multi-cultural 11-piece BFE performs sprawling organic jams laced with echo-soaked horn solos, soaring soul diva vocals, live drums, and some of the tightest bass playing this side of Bootsy Collins. Ace trombonist Josh Roseman gives the horn section a Fred Wesley-type lift, and things turn comical when vocalist Everton Sylvester delivers his cool rudeboy hype with the flair of a beat poet. MAKE THEM LIKE IT should finally spread the word on BFE's music beyond the shadow of the Brooklyn Bridge.
