If you mention UB40 to most people they immediately think of duets with Chrissie Hynde and a sickly sweet commercial watered down type of reggae that appealed to the masses from the late 80's through to the mid 90's, but delve a little deeper into their back catalog and you'll come up with some really classic material. This was pretty groundbreaking stuff for them, taking an already existing album and subjecting it to some high quality dub experiments. You just know that around this time the boys were still puffing loads of weed and weren't afraid to experiment with their sound to see where it would take them. Quality stuff!
